MORGUE SUPPLIER - Inevitability review

MORGUE SUPPLIER - Inevitability

Transcending Obscurity Records

In what I would definitely describe as a fucked state of affairs in this world. It's not a huge surprise to find some extreme stuff that is just as crazy. I mean the first cut off of this album "Absurd Identity" spells everything out exactly.

Now just for the record MORGUE SUPPLIER are a two piece act hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Technically they've been around for at least twenty years. The band is made up of Paul Gillis on guitar/vocals and Stephen Reichelt on bass. The drums are programmed. Both of these guys are also in the band DRUG HONKEY. Now if you're familiar with that band then you'll understand MORGUE SUPPLIER.

If not well what we have here is a melting pot of death metal and avant-grind with touches of atmospheric elements or more precisely drone. You would think this was a hard album to get your head into. But since I am a grindcore fan and do find some of the more new experimental aspects of the genre exciting. I thought this was a cool thing to listen to.

Instead of being totally fast and brutal, which is typical of grind. I found it down right disturbing or at least it could be for some. To me it's like being beaten into unconsciousness only to be revived for further torture. That's how this album flows. There's some disjointed tech riffing action which I believe adds to the whole adventure in torment. Damm good bass work as well.

The vocals are a mix of hoarse howls, vomit speech and harsh screams. The drum programming is not so bad either. The song structures are wild as fuck. Yeah this is fairly amazing stuff here. A tour de force in extreme metal.
