WILCZYCA - DrakoNequissime review

WILCZYCA - DrakoNequissime

Godz Ov War Productions

This album is so raw, MAYHEM could use it as a stage prop. While listening to this, the band's third full length, descriptive words like blackened thrash or blackened punk come to mind. This Polish band is actually a two piece act. You've got the mainman Louve who handles the instruments (guitars and drums). While on vocals you've got Nidhogg who's into high pitched screaming.

Musically the band does mix up their momentum with the tempos. It's not all head ripping. Last song on here, "Nema", is an eight minute instrumental and their only track which contains some atmosphere (aka: silence). Overall this release is basement black metal at it's core. Which is not a bad thing since they'd probably kill the audience afterwards.
