BRODY'S MILITIA - Early Days Discography review

BRODY'S MILITIA - Early Days Discography

Horror Pain Gore Death Productions

While the great Confederacy of Scum (aka: ANTISEEN, COCKNOOSE, RANCID VAT, LIMECELL, HELLSTOMPER, etc.) has long since gone (but ANTISEEN still lives on) it's legacy carried on influencing plenty of extreme acts who pushed the limits of punk and metal into scum territory. BRODY'S MILITIA from Kentucky is one of those bands. They've been around for years, at least since the early 2000s. I've got a split 7"er they did with ANTISEEN from a while back and their Covered In Violence covers compilation.

While I've seen comparisons of them to ANTISEEN, RUPTURE, G.G. ALLIN (all of whom they've covered). I've always looked at em as a southern version of LIMECELL meets NAPALM DEATH in a barbed wire squared circle. I can't say I was a fan of their guitarist's other act HELLNATION who spewed grind/powerviolence throughout the 90s. But then I know a fan of HELLNATION who hates BRODY'S MILITIA and calls em sell outs so there you go.

Be that as it may if you're interested in BRODY'S MILITIA but don't want to collect all of their short form vinyl, which there is a lot of, then here ya go. There's sixty songs on here and this motherfucker ends with an ANTISEEN cover, so there ya go. WOOOOOOOOOO!
