Regular readers of this blog, and frankly who isn't, will know that Transcending Obscurity Records has become one of my favorite extreme music labels of late. A half dozen of their 2020 releases where on my Best of the Year listings. They ended up as my favorite label for 2020. Even the releases of their's that didn't make it into my end of year favorites were in the running. So yeah I'm a fan.
According to the label:
"We're absolutely thrilled to announce this year's label sampler which we feel is the best one so far. All of the songs are brand new and have never been on any previous samplers. This a reflection of our current roster (even though there are many that haven't been able to contribute a new song for this) and what's coming your way in the foreseeable future. So here we have the label's new sampler for 2021 and it's pretty cool. Of course there's some favorite acts, out of the 38 represented, who I'm a huge fan of already.
