KLADOVEST - Ignitiate review

KLADOVEST - Ignitiate

No Colours Records

So I'm listening to this release and thinking wow they sound like DRUDKH. Come to find out that they use to have Thurios of DRUDKH and HATE FOREST on vocals but now he's been replaced by a guy named Gjenfard. Be that as it may, DRUDKH have been one of my favorite BM acts over the past fourteen years (has it been that fuckin long?) but over the past couple of years they've been hit and miss. So to me this is a welcome home.

Now as far as KLADOVEST go, I have been completely ignorant to their existence. They've got four previous full lengths (hello Ebay I'm buying). As far as this one here, ha, it's four long songs, typical, and as atmospheric and melodic as you would think. It's DRUDKH junior in many ways. Vocals are kinda poor. That's about all I can say.

Rating: 3/5
