NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST - Grinding Bombing Thrashing

Not long ago I made mention while reviewing a well known US grindcore band's release that "there's far more exciting and interesting grindcore bands out there today." Yeah well here's one of em from Poland. Now to those trained ears of grindcore aficionados who'll say; "well Mr. Wolf this isn't exactly grind by our standards." Ah yeah you're correct it ain't but it's something better than your snobbish ears could ever comprehend.
NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST are old school. Hell their first time on a recorded release was a four band compilation from 2016 called Infected by Old School. This their second full length is sixteen songs of late 80's hardcore meets caustic early death metal with a little element of thrash tossed in which equals some cool ass grind moments.
Musically the songs all rip at a faster than a cheetah late for supper pace. In other words that means they're under the two minute mark in length. Vocals range from caustic hardcore to full blown gruff to grunted death metal style. Thankfully there's lyrics included but really, who fuckin cares.
Who would've guessed that four guys from Swidnik, Poland were going to re-teach the world what it was all about in 1989 as far as extreme music goes. Hell I remember those days fairly well I might add. These guys were most likely still in their dad's balls. Luckily they grew up to make music for old fucks like me to enjoy and have hiptards sneering like shoving a cross in Dracula's face. This release is excellent.
